The Office of Collaborative Academic Programs facilitates inter-campus collaboration to develop, implement, and sustain shared online degrees and certificates that take advantage of IU’s scale, resources, reputation, and diversity of offerings. In partnership with campus faculty and academic leadership and the Office of Online Education, OCAP carries out IU’s strategic approach to online education, which emphasizes collaboration and allows every IU campus access to the opportunities afforded by online education. This approach utilizes the normal processes of the university and preserves faculty governance over the curriculum, thereby protecting and advancing the integrity of an IU degree.
